Agrivet Sciences Institute
The Agrivet Sciences Institute (AGSI) was established in AY 2011-2012 and is timely and strategic for Lasallian presence in Central Luzon and an ideal demonstration site for agriculturally-oriented Lasallian education.
Certificate Programs
The Salikneta Farm thru the AGSI is recognized to have an immense potential to support the requirements of varied agri-related programs that should accelerate manpower development in the country alongside agricultural production. Graduates of these programs are supposed to be trained to provide the technical/professional skills in ensuring the sustainability of the important link between business and agricultural production.
Certificate Programs that have been identified for future implementation include:
Agri-Business: The business of agricultural production that includes crop production (farming and contract farming), seed supply, agrichemicals, farm machinery, distribution, processing, marketing, and retail sales. Students are to be taught a large-scale business operation embracing each individual element of agriculture production and distribution and the "interdependence" of various sectors within the production chain.
